I think if the staff was more patient about giving out scholarships (and, of course, found more guys who could play point guard in a pinch) transfers could lead to better players. After all, Ricky and Avery's schollies turned into Sean Evans and DJ Kennedy, so you can't say that transfers have worked out for the worse.
Except, of course, for continually having a "young" team and creating an air of tumult in the program.
But generally... the staff needs to know/ evaluate who's going to make a real impact, and with Wait and more importantly TyShwan, they really crapped the bed on those commits.
