Since Norm is humbling himself to a harder pre-conference schedule, does this mean the administration will humble themselves to bringing back midnight madness. On second thought, usually at midnight madness their is the mandatory dunk competition and I don't feel like Mase injuring himself doing a dunk and ending his career plus bringing in recruits for it and then having something embarassing happen like a poor pickup game and a certain rapper who served as our intro for the 2001-2002 season not show up again leading to a riot similar when Duce used to go into Marillac

Maybe this is the first time Norm felt that the team was up to facing better competition early on. Whatever the reason I'm all for it. I think that if a player has what it takes he gets better against better players. IMO just jumping into the Big East having beaten mostly creampuffs does the team a disservice.
I think Midnight Madness is a very good idea this year. However, I was there when Jermaine Maybank went down during the dunking contest and its left a bad taste in my mouth ever since.
