Who will have the better year?

These 2 guys have played in the Big East for 12 years apiece it seems and imo are similar players. Both like to shoot no matter how many they miss. Who has the better year?

Good point, both of these guys should have their minutes cut. Harvey will also have Keon Lawrence and Jermel Jackson looking for som minutes

The main problem I have with Mason is not how many shots he takes or even the large number of bad shots he takes. The ball just stops when he has it. He holds the ball too long, does not make his teamates better and the fact that he shoots so many bad shots is amplified by the fact that in the Norm UGLY offense that we run, there just isn't that many shots total to be had.
Basically Mason's shortcomings are way mor noticable in the slow pace we play as opposed to the offense Harvey plays in where bad shots are not as glaring.

It's hard to compare a PG vs GF. I think PMG brought up a great point about Theodore and I do think he'll cut into his minutes some but thats not exactly a bad thing for Harvey.

Harvey to Boothe would be a better comparison in terms of who would have a better season due to the fact they play the same position. Who will have a better AST/TO ratio?

I think they are similar in terms of expectations, but not in their games.

Mase needs to stay healthy.

Harvey's problems are his focus.

Both guys looked like very promising players as freshman.
but not much has happened since then.

For Mase, it might be fair to point out that he was basically alone as a junior. Harvey can't claim that.

Gotta go with Mason.  But interesting question.  As several have said alot depends on how much of their playing time is cut into by teammates.

I dont think its that tough a comparison. Both players have been in the league almost as long as Boeheim,both like to shoot(no matter where the ball lands). Wow Harvey has alot of turnovers and is awful from downtown

It's not such a crazy comparison.

It's based on tenure, not skill set.

Both have been here a long time,
and both have come up empty.
