"I have a whole lot of people planning on coming to the game, a lot of people watching it. I wouldn't call it home, but it was my second home. So I feel good going back, hopefully we play good," said the 5-foot-11, 185-pound Stith....

"I went down there and I was homesick for a while," Stith said. "It's a culture shock. You go from streets to highways, corner stores to gas stations, stuff that kids take advantage of and then you didn't have it. It was a big adjustment but then I just learned how to deal with it and it became a normal thing for me."

Wow, a kid who appreciates NY. Maybe he'd like to be a star in the only city in this country that means anything at all?

More important from the same SNY article:

Injury update: Roberts said redshirt senior Anthony Mason Sr. will get another MRI on his aggravated hamstring in two weeks and likely wouldn't be back until sometime after that. "Once he gets that MRI and everybody feels that everything's heeled up well, then we'll go," Roberts said. ... Roberts said it was possible redshirt junior forward Rob Thomas could play Wednesday when the Johnnies face Georgia in the SEC/Big East Invitational at the Garden. "Possible, but I want him to lose some weight and I want him to get in better shape because he hasn't been out there," Roberts said.
