Kecman, a 6-foot-9, 215-pound native of Serbia, averaged 13.2 points this season for the Gila Monster, shooting 56 percent from the field and 45 percent from beyond the arc. Those skills have drawn interest from major programs like UK, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Iowa, Nebraska, St. John's, Fresno State, Kansas State and Nevada late in his recruitment.

"He can really shoot the ball from the perimeter. It's a premium skill," Walsh added. "And with the line moving back this year, I think he's going to be at an advantage because he's already used to shooting it at the international distance. There will be no adjustment for him."

Kecman is a freshman who should have three years of eligibility remaining.

Typcially, there are questions surrounding eligibility when it comes to junior college players. That's compounded when they also have a foreign background, but Walsh said there are no such issues with Kecman.

He's no longer considering us per recent articles.  Seems to be down to UK, OSU and Ole Miss.
