The up-hill climb to .500 in Big East play

Let's talk about what lies ahead:

We're now 0-2 with @ Louisville and vs. Cincy coming up ahead.  It is possible (and probably even likely) that we will be 0-4 at the end of this stretch.  Staring it right in the face.

We then have Depaul at home, which should be a win.

BUT, then we go into a stretch (probably at 1-4 at that point) where we play:

-@UConn
-vs. Nova
-@ Pitt
-@ Rutgers
-vs. West Virginia
-vs. Louisville
-@ Notre Dame

With those ^ games in the middle of our Big East sked, I don't see how we could POSSIBLY go .500 in league play.

My prediction is that we exit that stretch at 3-9 in league play, and we would have 6 games remaining at that point.  It doesn't look good.

We usually upset 2 teams, Nova, Uconn?

We would need that kind of an upset or two, but even if we do that, we still have to go 4-2 in our last 6 to hit .500.
