St. John's had just finished putting the final touches on a 67-47 Big East pounding of hapless DePaul Sunday when senior Anthony Mason Jr. was asked what grade he would give the Red Storm. After an overpowering start to the second half, he could have gone with an 'A' or a 'B.' He didn't.
In their second straight win, he gave the Johnnies a 'W.'
"We got the win," Mason said. "You don't do some things well, you pick it up in other areas. The main thing is you get the win."
