Since I have definatively proven I have the power to predict the future, allow me to clear up some things concerning the ST John's basketball program.
First of all as you all know by now the team will finish the regular season 14-16.
Before the tourney starts Chris Monasch will give Norm a vote of confidence that will annoy everyone except Bluto and RSHF. The team will then upset their first round opponent before losing a close second round game on a critical chage by Sean Evans, whose 1 on 5 fast break attempt ends with him charging into all 5 guys on the other team. Norm will clap 3 times at this.
Despite the 15-17 record SJU will once again play in the CBI tournament where they lose their first round game ending their season at 15-18.
After the season Chris Monasch will not give any interviews and instead will continue his goal to try turn himself into a tangerine. Despite Southern Johnny's ridiculous claim Monasch will not be fired and neither will Norm. There will be no announcement, things will just go on as they normally do. Again everyone will be upset except for RSFF and Bluto.
Sometime around September Dave and the rest of you will start to post about how even though Norm is not a good coach the fact that the BE is down and we have a deep team of seniors, you will all predict 20 wins and a tourney bid.
WE ARE NOSTRADAMUS will counter that we have a bad coach, bad point guard, terrible shooters and can't score. I will then predict we win 16 games. People will call me crazy and we will start the season 10-2.
Around the 5th the game of our 5 game losing streak people will start to post about possible Norm replacements. Everyone will be miserable except for RSHF and Bluto. Southern Johnny will start a post claiming Dick Vitale told him Father H is stepping down and Shelton Jones will be replacing him. Doing his best "Deep Throat" impersonation he will post some cryptic post about "follow the money".
The team will finish 16-14, lose early in the BE tourney,and lose in the CIB. Winter will become spring, spring will become summer, summer will turn to fall. Norm will be the SJU coach we will lose a lot of boring games.
