You have to slip something into the email that will force a response. We used to do this to Dick Barnett all the time in our coaching psychology class. We didn't think he read the test booklets because we all got the same grade so we'd slip in some crazy statements in there that I shouldn't repeat publicly and sure enough they went unnoticed lol.

Believe me, Dave, I've sent some dandies.  When Monasch announced Norm was returning last year, I went realfan on his e-mail account.  I dropped more f bombs than you could ever imagine.

Those letters don't carry too much weight. You have to be diplomatic and bring up solid points. Tha Kid went into coaching aspects I would have went into more financials with ticket sales in addition to that. I wonder how we stack up in revenue in comparison to Georgetown this year.

you think he'll read the whole thing?
No way. It'd burn in the tanning bed.

Monasch is just a lightweight (metaphorically, not physically) AD. Does anyone think that there is a danger that a major athletic program would ever hire him away from St. John's? The Mom and Pop approach, though, seems to be acceptable with these Vincentians

I would've attacked it from the business end as well. I'm sure he's just thankful to be employed, but, on some level, it must disappoint him to be associated with perennial mediocrity and disappointing student support.

LOL I was diplomatic in the beginning, but when he brought back Norm last year I let the f bombs fly like fireworks on the fourth.

I don't contribute nearly enough to even make them bat their eyes at a threat to withold.

most of us did not "respect" monasch's decision for norm to return this year! if you want SJU gear for your bro, goto footballfanatics.com or fansedge!

Pretty frustrating.

i think its time we take action. if we all take time to write 1 letter to FH and one to monash. that would have to be at least 50 for both. I think they would have to notice that many letters.

now is probably the best time to voice our disapproval. there is no way we should stand by idly.

tha kid, i aplaud you efforts.
i will also writing/sending a letter out.

we all need to do the same.
