You could see it in the way Paris Horne dove across midcourt for a loose ball. You could see it the way Sean Evans elevated above bigger players to get a hand on almost every rebound. And you could see it in the wild gyrations of coach Norm Roberts.

St. John's and Roberts were not about to let this season - and maybe his tenure at the school - end without a fight.
