I think that's probably untrue.  Programs like Wisconsin don't do one (or two) and dones, and I don't think it makes Bo Ryan (or Billy Donovan when he reached the finals) a bad recruiter.  Unless a bad recruiter or bad coach is one who doesn't get to the Final Four every year. 

But that's not my criteria.

Donovan won the national championship starting four soph's and a junior the first time.  The junior was a DISTANT fifth option and not even as good as bench players at other positions.

Well then. Color me corrected.

I still disagree with the statement.  You're not going to win the national championship (generally) without a one-and-done, or a two-and-done, it seems, but that statement really underrates the power of experience.  Kentucky's got a great recruiter. I'd consider laying money on the fact that they're not going to win it all.
