GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- More than 100,000 bats live in a house around here. Much to the shock of the Manhattan flying mammal crowd, none are planning to move to New York.
Neither is Billy Donovan. Despite what you have heard, he's not really interested in coaching St. John's.
The job he has now has about 100,000 better things going for it, not the least of which is he doesn't have to live in New York.Pardon me for being such a small-town rube. I'll readily admit New York is bigger, better and more sophisticated than anywhere on earth, even if it's almost impossible to find a Super Wal-Mart.
But why do people automatically assume everybody wants to work in America's largest city?
