t. John’s athletic director Chris Monasch met with Georgia Tech coach Paul Hewitt Tuesday night in Atlanta but no job offer was made, according to a source close to Hewitt.

“They did meet but Hewitt was not offered the job. They had a conversation,” the source said.

I actually think it is a good sign. No need to rush if you're interested in other coaches, some of whose teams may still be playing (Greenberg). No reason not to do your due diligence.

Or it means he turned us down and is going along with Monasch's story that no offer was made to let STJ save face.
