It's tricky w/ AAU politics and qualifying, but I hope Kevin Johnson, who is at least serviceable and we need a few big bodies, is still somewhere on their radar. As of two weeks ago, a friend said Illinois, USC, and Arizona St. were coming after him the hardest. It's highly unlikely that Hubert comes.

Johnson is ranked lower than Randall in all the rankings.

Respectfully, I frankly wasn't sure exactly what you meant in your prior post, but tried to respond.

As for this one, there actually is a major recruiting service, which I don't necessarily agree with, that has Johnson at 56 and Randall at 108. p/m

Gonzalo's obsession with Randall is stunning. He's like a pit bull that wont let it go :)

Neither one of these guys will make or break a team or recruiting class.  Our staff has said that they want to load up on long, athletic players.  We are going to play up and down.  I am not concerned with the lack of a big man yet.

It will be pretty easy once we get a legit point and a few athletic wings to lock down a kid like Pelle when he will be the MAN down low for us and have a chance to run and gun.

-Amir Garret will be the next one to commit. Jevon Thomas '12 might not be far behind.

-D'Angelo Harrison is most likely to be the next to commit after that.

Dave- per Zags 2 weeks ago- we lead for Garret along with Oregon, but he plans on visiting
Kansas & Miami.  That would meen no decision till end of month at earliest?

We all cant wait that long !(for him- yes, for more good news- no)
need to keep the ball rolling - hope we dont have to wait till November for most !

Starting tomorrow, they're allowed to get back out there. I'm sure word will soon leak about where, when, and which players the staff will be viewing at "open gyms."
