Mo Harkless' team, the Variety All-Stars play and according to Nate Blue, there is a 50/50 chance that D'Angelo Harrison may show up to play also and also a slight chance that Jakarr Sampson could show up. In addition, the best talent on the east coast comes to play in this, and its open rosters for the playoffs and there are usually stars from around the country flying in for the playoffs. You'll get to see Harkless and likely some of our other prospects.

The schedule is at the bottom of this post, and please remember to wear ST. JOHN'S gear if you come to show love to some prospects.

Theo,

Keep us posted on IS8.  I really hope Harrison and/or Sampson make it.

Nate Blue said 50/50 chance on Harrison and a very slim chance on Sampson.  Sampson a possibility for Sunday I think because Nate said they have Saturday classes at Brewster that he has to attend.

Outside of the locals, are there any consensus top 50 players from the East Coast definitely showing up this weekend that you know of?

Somewhat relatedly, I've wondered why the NCAA doesn't look more into who is paying for the airline tickets.

Schedule looks like this: Jevon Thomas and his OSNA team plays tomorrow morning at 9am at is8.

Maurice Harkless and the Variety All Stars play tomorrow at 12:45 at the VARIETY BOYS & GIRLS CLUB.  They play Mike Taylor's team so that should be a good game.

After that, the rest of the games will be at IS8.  The next round of playoffs are played in the afternoon that day, so if Harkless' team and Jevon Thomas' team wins they'll play twice tomorrow.
