Strong recruiting year for St. John's [NY Post]

The I's are dotted, the T's are crossed and let the record show that on Nov. 10, 2010, the St. John's basketball program took its second huge step in return to prominence.

The first step was taken on March 30, when St. John's hired Steve Lavin hoping to reawaken the echoes.

And yesterday, Lavin signed what is arguably the best recruiting class in St. John's history, headlined by wing Maurice Harkless of Queens. He also landed four Top 100 recruits.
