Playing with DC Assault 17U in the Pitt Jam Fest, Ahmad Fields 6'4" lefty SG, 2013, said he has an offer from St. John's. Outside of Alex Kline's tweet, I haven't seen anything pertaining to his recruitment.

Ahmad's Blue Ridge team doesn't get much exposure, but if DCA plucked him up for their squad, it's obviously for a reason (he's originally from DC as well). Ahmad plays in the same private school league as Seth Allen (Fredericksburg Christian Academy), the under recruited Terps combo guard commit who has great elevation and a sweet stroke on his jumper.

He was a large part of DC Assault’s balanced scoring attack on Friday, scoring 8 points with 6 of those coming in the first half when the game was much tighter. Fields said he’s currently working on getting stronger and putting a lot of time in lifting weights while also trying to get better with his right hand. As far as his recruitment goes, Fields said he has offers from Washington,
St. John’s, Saint Joseph’s,

DePaul, Southern California, George Washington, and Towson and that he plans to make a decision around the beginning of next school year in September."
