As of now, Nickens has cut that list in half, with Seton Hall, Rutgers, Temple, Providence, Wake Forest, Dayton, Miami, Maryland, and Oregon State standing out.

Nickens took his first official visit to Oregon State in May.

"I liked it a lot," he said. "It was a nice, friendly environment. The coaches were nice."

This month, Nickens has officials planned to Maryland, Wake Forest and Dayton. After that, he says he will sit down with his father and decide which program will receive his fifth official visit.

Miami is the frontrunner for that final trip, Nickens said.

"The other schools are all within driving range and I've taken unofficials to all of them," he explained.
