Wondering how many players Lavin has recruited who have then transferred out?

Good question.  I think we'll have one casualty from this class.  Someone is going to end up drawing the short straw and, assuming Meikle is redshirted, I think that will be the SF that gets the least burn.   Pretty much everyone on the roster will be capable of playing the three with a few exceptions.

I really don't think we'll have more than one transfer, because the guys coming in all do different things and we'll be playing an uptempo game.

I believe only 2.  Kevin Daley transferered IN under coach Lavin, but then transferred to an NAIA school.   6'7 center Travis Reed, from his first recruiting class, transered to Long Beach State after McDAA Dan Gadzuric and future Lottery Pick Jerome Moiso were signed after Travis's sophmore year.

Reed went on to be two time all-conference at LB State, and since has had a GREAT Euro-Career (18pt 9rebs for a decade kind of great).  Kevin Daley went on to 1st Team NAIA All America at Azusa-Pacific.  He's now know as "Special K" Daley - the current "Meadowlark" for the Harlem Globetrotters.   I'n not sure he really counts.  I honestly can't remember if he was brought in by Steve, or was brougnt in by Harrick, sat out his transfer year Steves first season, and joined the active roster with Baron, Earl, Travis, Rico, Moose Bailey and Billy Knight in Steve's 2nd season...

Oops.  Forgot one more.  Andre Patterson transferred to Tennessee.  But that was technically after Steve was fired.

Well he's got 2 here so far and would not be surprised to see it climb to 3 with Stith.  No inside info but I don't see any one-and-dones in our current group and it seems we are going hard after Gathers and Anderson.

Well actually I asked how many players transferred that he recruited.  He didn't recruit the guys who transferred.
