Depends on if there's an offset provision in Coach Roberts' separation agreement (or in Coach Pelphrey's for that matter).

I agree that is why it depends on how it was structured.  Dunlap got the FULL $400K from Oregon even with a new job and salary from SJU.

WRT: I read somewhere that is how it will be structured with Florida.  So we'll see.

I don't understand your question?

Are you saying that Florida should just hire him for next to nothing and then have the balance made up by Arkansas?

I am not sure how that works but my guess is they cannot do that specifically under the buyout agreement with Arkansas.  In other words Arkansas probably put it in that he cannot take another job essentially for free in college basketball.

Lavin v. Norm in a recruiting battle is comical even when Norm has a closer in Donovan.  Let Norm recruit all the NY players he wants he has proven his ineptitude time and again.

If Kyle wanted to consider Florida I don't think Norm's arrival is what triggered that thought.  I'm pretty sure its Billy D and the handful of NBA players and a few Championships that did it.

There is no recruiting battle between Lavin and Roberts. The battle is between Head Coaches Lavin and Donovan.
