Wondering why there are no Centers on the radar?

Pretty much gotta get a true big in the 2013 class - God's Gift will have graduated after 2 years, and Pelle, if still here, will be heading into his Jr. Year.

Agree wholeheartedly.  It's the reason I said I would have loved to target one like McGary in 2012.  Don't think we need both gathers and Kyle Anderson, two tweener players.  Would like to see us push for a talented near 7-footer if we can find one.

+1/I agree as well

I'd like to see the Arizona Transfer Guard=1more, and a Center=2 more, and maybe either Anderson (or) Gathers but not both=3 more.

Drummond doesn't want college at all.

Man, you have to go way back to find a legit center at SJU.  They sure don't grow on trees and we did some pretty good things with Glover, Grant etc. there.  Both Hamiltons would have been forwards elsewhere.  Aircraft carriers are almost obsolete in today's athletic game.  We have a three pt. arc that changed all that.  I think we'll be able to compete with the athletes and increased shooting range we've collected.

Generally our centers have fallen into 2 categories, the 7 footer projects, or the undersized, lots of heart power forwards. Can't we get the best of both worlds ie, a legit 7'0 + long armed, shot blocker / space eater who is not a total project on offense and who can give us 20 minutes
