I was thinking of the Senior Young on offense rather then the Freshman but I don't think the Senior Young even touches the Freshman SDP ( at least from what I've seen and am expecting of ) on defense.

St. John's should have taken Sledge.

Why?  Would he really help us that much where Lindsey, Green can't?
There are plenty of sub 6ft guards that play major ball. See Kemba last season Mack and Boatright etc. Boothe couldn't keep up with them and neither can Stith.  Lindsey?  I don't think so.  Don't know about Greene but I'll bet Pointer gets stuck with them occasionally the way we're set up.  I would have liked Sledge on the roster for an added dimension.

If, and when Lindsey decides he wanna play defense then he'll be able to hold his own.  IMO, he has good lateral ability and it'll serve him well once this coaching staff gets ahold of him.

Not to mention, I saw Harrison play some pretty decent defense in the Derby Festival game last month.  There are guys on the upcoming team who has that "added dimension," per se'.

Pointer sometimes reminds me of Ray Jackson from the Fab 5.

Pretty good comparison, boo.

I'm telling you, Pointer is a clone of Pitt's Sam Young.

I see it.  There is a kid from Michigan I keep being reminded of, though..not sure if it was Ray Jackson like some have said.

Height means very little in college back courts.  Very few college guards know how to take advantage of a size differerential by posting and the wide use of zones makes it even tougher.
