Just played with the 2011-2012 roster in College Hoops 2k8

Lindsay was a beast and had 20 points and was 3-5 from 3 pt. Pointer scored 18. Pelle, and Godsgift each had 6 rebounds. Sampson was decent, nothing crazy. Harkless looked great. Now obviously I don't know the exact ratings these players were or anything, but I just wanted to kind of test drive this team.

Were you able to play as STJ in previous years?

Yes...first of all they have the 1985 team you can play as and you can also download various rosters from the '90s and stuff.

i have a 2011 big east roster for ps3 with actual espn scouting reports to help guide player ratings
will redo stjohns once walk ons announced will maintain actual potential and skill rating to ensure authenic game and season play
also added top recruiting classes such as arizona kentucky and a couple of 2012 major recruit signings like providence class
darrick wood and gathers on stjohns as redshirts for 2011 so u start next season with them on a team already.
this innovative game is a classic that live on an can continue to evolve in an era of no college basketball games on the market three years running
for you old timers who repect classic teams guess what on classic rosters st.johns 85 squad is active !!!! as well as duke with grant hill, UNLV in the 90' s etc. up to 25 classic ncaa teams!
goes for about 8-10 bucks used

btw in the season mode u can recruit during aau season through out season and play as hs team against future recruit or sit back and watch mcdonalds all american game and see if anyone is still undecided and try to recruit

College Hoops 2k8 is the greatest college basketball game EVER. It goes so in depth it's amazing. It's one of those games you never get sick of. Please send me a reminder when you post it to 2k share so I can download the St.John's roster

its a shame 2k8 was the last installment, i still play 2k8 every bball season, such a smooth gameplay, i blame ed obannon for bringing up a lawsuit to have every player paid for their likenesses in the game.  just because he couldnt make it in the pros he has to ruin it for everyone

i downloaded the new rosters and i took sampson and pelle off the team, i kept garrett on.  i have to say its very tough to play other teams downlow when you only have ggift and harkless

I also played Texas Pan-American like we are supposed to and they shot 62% on us lol. Let's hope that won't happen.

Unfortunately think many teams will shoot a high % against us given our lack of height, depth and experience.
