No, I haven't heard anything about us recruiting this kid, but he just recently decommitted from UTEP, and seems to playing some serious ball.  Maybe, our staff can move in on him since he's now open again.  He also seems to have a build where he can put on more weight and play multiple positions.

His haircut would fit in perfectly with Harrison, Pointer, and Garrett 

Dont take much stock in the highlight vids but two things:

-the comp looks really weak.

-love this kid's demeanor on the court. Seems all business.

-Anthony January, 6’7, Taft (2012) – was able to do whatever he wanted, that resulted in 26 points and a blowout victory over Loyola. After the win he claimed that he picked up an offer from Memphis, but UNLV and SDSU are the frontrunners for his services.
