Double digit win.

I was close.  Two baskets off.
So was I and my post is right above yours so give credit where credit is due. :) Also i was just a total of 4 pts off on what both teams would score for the game.

I'm not looking out for others.  Just tooting my own horn.

And my post was laced with sarcasm as I never said WHICH team would win by double digits :)

But when you said you were 2 baskets off that implied you picked Detroit but on second thought you are probably incapable of picking against St J even if they were playing the LA Lakers. :)

Nice job quoting the post above.......NOT

I know you are on this trip lately where anyone who doesn't drag the program thru the mud is wearing red colored glasses or something.  I encourage you to read the game thread on Redmen (or Yesmen for realfan and illwill) where my thoughts are pretty straight forward that I was not happy or pleased last night.  And I do NOT pull punches.

Yes I had this game pegged as a W.  Detroit had some horrendous losses this year and injuries sure made it seem on paper that we could beat them.  However games are not played on paper as we all know.  I think many fans just pick against the team whether its reverse psychology or try to get a rise out of others.  I look at numbers, I look at stats and facts.  Det was picked to finish high in Horizon, lost some players and haven't looked good, yet last night it finally came together for them.
To summarize I'm not happy.  I'm livid this morning actually.  I have big issues with not just the losses but HOW we are losing bothers me more.  I hate the slowdown offense.  I have issues with the matchup zone when its clear they are not picking it up.  Nuri looks lost.  Combine that with the Rise 3, MoMo being unable to come here, Lavin being sick and Gathers temporarily decommitting and its the perfect storm.

Feel your pain Moose as I am sure all Redmen fans do. Nice shot at me for fing up quote in my last post-never claimed to be very computer savvy. I did not pick Detroit for any other reason than I thought we would lose because haven't been playing well, first road game, Vitale dedication (although we couldn't beat Francis for Lou) and high scoring McCallum (and our inability over the years to hold down other teams high scorers). Look we all realize that we lack hight, depth and experience and play tough competition but for some reason most of our fans had us wenning the majority of our games. I like these kids. believe we will add more talent and believe in the direction of the program under Lavin. But for whatever reason I am taken to task for not drinking the kool aid of the rose colored glasses crowd that believes our current team is the greatest thing since sliced bread. I evaluate all my favorite teams honestly and not blindly.

Forgot to mention that before our 3 recruits were declared ineligible thought we had a chance at NCAA T berth but without them thought we may win 10 games. Think Pelle and Sampson as needed bigs would have made pretty big difference but now would have concerns about Pelle's psyche and how much he could help.
