This thread has taken a life of its own. I'm partially to blame because I've had enough of people's antics lately and I pressed them about facts. This place is intended to discuss basketball and fan community.
Lately there have been some people who have poisoned the boards more so in a few months than I've ever had to deal with in 5 years of the site being up. The site was great before them and will be great without them. Let this serve as a reminder to everyone that it is a privilege to be here not your right. I try to be as liberal as possible dealing with people but sometimes I have to rule with an iron fist.
No one wants to read through this nonsense. I pride JJ being a place to keep fans informed as much as I do a place for them to communicate. So when a poster habitually jeopardizes someone to come on here and find what they are looking for because they have to sort through nonsense I have a big problem.
Illwill is no longer a member of this community. He has continued to be a negative impact here daily and the core of this community was being effected by his hijacking of threads and spewing of nonsense. Additionally Beach Bum is also no longer a part of this community. He asked me to change his name so that people wouldn't recognize him from another site, he was looking for a fresh start. I can understand that but all he did under that alias was dig at other posters. I don't want to enable that kind of behavior. This place was better before both got here and will be better without.
