Dayshon Smith - PG - Putnam Science - New York, NY - DAYTON

Watching the video, IMO he doesnt seem like a "next level" guy.  Marginal athlete.  Decent shooter, but shot reminds me of Elijah Ingram.  Seems crafty, but not the type of guy I can see us recruiting for one of mabe 2 ships.

When viewed in slow motion you can really see that these hesitation dribbles are really caring the ball violations. They look like running backs.

Ordinarily I'm not a fan of kids going to the middle of nowhere if a decent program close to home has offered, but I really like Wichita St. Great fan support and a great coach, so I'd tell him to visit them if I were an advisor.

His school Putnam Science just tweeted that Dayshon is now getting interest from us and Nova amongst others.

The way officials view the "carry" rule has changed dramatically over the years.

A lot of kids today carry the ball on almost every dribble but officials have been trained to only make the call when its creates a clear advantage for the offensive player.

Ive seen him. If I was him I would go to a mid major. Put on some weight and do something special. Going to a high major it's way to easy to get recruited over
