Our kids are tired and extremely worn down and this had to be exepcted. You just can't have any success in this league with 6/7 players, its impossible.

The kids will continue to give a monster effort and finish out, maybe we can steal a win or two in the Big East tourney and player spoiler.

Personally, the only group I have ever been more proud of as a fan were the kids that took the court after the Pitt scandal. This group has exceeded all expectations and you just can't put a value on the experienced they have all gained this year.

They will finished they way they have played all year, with a great effort..!!

They've exceeded all expectations? What were the expectations that you had? 16th place?

Gee, five 18-19 yr old kids playing half their games against top 40 teams, most with one or two guys off the bench. It was a matter of time till they hit the wall. Lets give them a break.

Dan they almost beat a duke team who many think can win a national championship and lost to a team from Texas who I can't even remember their name.

Texas A&M. One of the worst teams of the Big 12.

And we got their backup PG

another nice personic comment...keep on adding quality posts to the board.

Of course we will. Dunlap has two Division 3 national championships.

Se my problem with Dunlap is I think a basketball should look like he actually shot a jump shot once in his life. I am not saying he had to play in the NBA but he should not look like he would shoot like Sheldon from the Big Bang theory either. I think this rule should apply to posters as well. If you have never taken a jump shot you should not be allowed to post.
Dave could you make this happen?

Don't do drugs.

That is terrible advice. Some of the posters on the board are still in college.

It's just advice for you. For the record, in a one on one game, you'd be crying. Literally.

Job, family, house, so sadly those days are over. Thanks for the advice though.
I met a bunch of posters a couple years back. Nice guys all of them but not in great shape. You would have to be the exception to the rule.
BTW I love how people on message boards or online try to talk themselves up. Not a fan of country music but that guy Brad Paisley has a song "I am so much more interesting online" which I think applies to "Air Poison".

Don't cry about people talking themselves up, when you cowardly call them out as not being able to play. You're right, you are the perfect example of hiding online. I din't bring this up. You did. And I think you're a woman for it.

I'm 6'2, 235 pounds. And I played the 4/5 in high school. Not much air in my game, and not much a jump shot, but plenty of Charles Minlend. The low level high school version.

That's nice. Do you have any eligibility left? The Johnnies could use you.

From the little of the game I watched during breaks in Linsanity it appears that the shot clock violation offense was back. Sparnakal even mentioned how timid the offense was and that the defense basically could rest until 5 seconds left in shot clock. There is not much the team can do considering personal but I really hate that offense.

but I want to go down with Harrison shooting.  It pisses me off to no end that he just stands there and nobody does a thing to free him up.  If you are down 20..what is the harm in running him off a double-screen when they are in man.  Did you see that kid stick him in the corn in the 2-3?  He was a marked man.  Why not run Moe over there if they are going to play him that far out in a zone...overload that side.  Horrible game.  At least get my guy some shots.  We will lose every game if that kid isn't scoring 20+.

Sounds like you're calling out the coach.

Dunlap has forgotten more about the game than I know about it.  He's got his hands ful wearing two hats.  I'm just real partial to 3'Angelo.  If we are going to lose by 30,  3'Angelo should have taken 30 shots.  The kid is sensational.  Watching Theodore and Pope do their thing and then seeing my guy, the best player on the court, not get the ball in scorig opportunties was very frustrating.

The season has been full of ups and downs and even though they lost to Duke I saw it as a positive...but this is a low.  Losing by 30 to Seton Hall really is not okay.  They must be especially gassed.

Of course they're gassed. Dunlap should have gotten a couple of walk ons out there for a few minutes. I just don't get the logic. If you're sticking with this lame match up zone anyway, why not get your guys some rest? They clearly need it.

Maybe one of them can contribute in a way. How we experience Borisanity if he never gets any burn?
