Over the last ten games..

D'angelo Harrison is leading the big east in scoring.

I was bored in class last night and decided to waste some time by running the numbers of the top 10 scorers in the big east (for the whole year) and computing their PPG over their last ten games. Here is how it looks..

Very impressive numbers for D'angelo. I dont think it is far fetched to think that he could average close to 20 for the whole year next year. The year off working on his body and his game, more rest during the games, and also some more scoring threats on the court should help him.

D'Angelo is our most efficient offensive player b/c he makes 3's at a reasonable % and gets to the line.  He is only shooting 37% from the field (exact same as 3pt) but b/c he gets to the line so much he still avg abt 1.33 points per shot which is very good. 

I would be surprised if he didnt raise both his FG% and 3FG % next year, due to the reasons you mentioned above, along with a little better shot selection. 

Moe is the one who still has a lot of room for growth offensively, which is scary.  He is at around 1.14 points per shot.  This is due to his 3pt% and FT% along with not getting to the line nearly as much as D'angelo.  If he can improve both at a decent rate he will be a dominant force in the big east.   

They both have to carry the load offensively rt now.  Moe, looks a little worn down having to guard 4-5's for 40 mins a game.  A few more options, along with their individual improvement in the offseason will pay dividends next year. 

Next year if Moe can become even a 70% ft shooter and a 30% three point shooter his numbers will increase significantly. I hope for our sake his rebounds dip a little bit due to the addition of some big men up front.

This might sound crazy. I think Moe can be at 40% from three next year and also bring up his FT shooting to 75% or so.  Moe has a pretty shot for deep.

That is crazy.   Moe is our best talent in a long time, and I agree sometimes his shot is pretty to watch, but he's shooting under 20% from three this year.   There's just no way he tops 40% next season.   Some of the best shooters in the conference like Lamb, Chris Smith, Kuric, Johnson-Odom, D'angelo etc barely sniff 40%.

I agree with you on his foul shooting though.  I could see him raise that into the 70% range with more practice, and if he gets a few minutes rest in each half.   

Moes shot almost always misses short or long. Much easier to correct then missing left or right. 40% would be amazing, but if hes this good shooting 20% imagine him at 30%

A jump to 40% after shooting 20% this year would be a miracle. The most disappointing thing about his 3pt shooting is that most of them are wide open and he still misses 4 out of 5. I'd be happy if he can shoot 30% next year. This year I honestly wish he'd stop shooting them, even if wide open.

Take a dribble in.  Its amazing how much better they will shoot if they take a dribble and step or two inside the line.  Still will be just as open with better %

Definitely, I agree. Moe's midrange jumper is smooth. I think he would benefit most from doing that.
