Sad to here. Got to know LeRoy a bit when he was with the Lakers back in the mid Sixties.
Funny, considered a "joourneyman" kind of a player historically, but with the 16 pts 12 rebs he put up with the early Blazers, the 15/12 he put up with the Bullets, and the 12/9 he put up his last year with the Lakers, and the double double (10/11) he had with Philly in his 12th year in the League, he'd be considered a freaking STAR by todays standards of center play.....10 pts and 8+ rebs averaged for 14 seasons. Guys who sustain 8 boards a game and double digit scoring for that long pull down 15 Million a year these days.
