Gotta admit I like boatright, think he can be a 20 ppg player, if he develops a jumpshot he's Darryl hill 2.0 in my book, minus the handle add the athleticism

Are you saying Boatright isn't athletic?
No, I said showtime wasn't as athletic

Agree, showtime doesn't have boat's leaping ability, but hill was super quick with slick ball skills.  He was never the same after that injury.

Sorry I misread your 'add' as an 'and'. I Agree
*wipes ketchup from his eyes* - I guess Heinz sight isn’t 20/20.

I like both Russ Smith and Porter a lot.   Wouldn't mind having either on SJU.   And conversely, for some reason, I've just never liked Melvin's game.   I know he's good, but every time we play Depaul I see him disappear for huge stretches of the game.   Hasn't lived up to hype in my mind.

Last year - Herb Pope would have been MOST disliked, with out question...

This year, I almost picked Brian Oliver for Most Liked - great kid, very solid player and if he is healthy, he will have fantastic season for SHU..

I like council, but he doooggg'd it against us. I would have thought he was betting on the game it was that bad.

I had that same thought.    It was embarrassing for Ed's boys that night... and it started with Council.

Not as embarrassing as Nuri's performance vs. Detroit.

Hoya, you'll find a lot of agreement with 'Cuse hate on this board.
Where do you come down on scheduling Cuse after they leave the Big East?   That's been hotly debated here for months.    Most (i'd say 75%) think it'd be blasphemy to schedule them.
Should they be treated like BC ?

I would like us to continue to play them every year. They're our greatest rivals. Sure there's plenty of history with other BE teams, but nothing close to what we have with syracuse.

The issue is I'm fairly positive they will not want to schedule us. So it's not really up to us. Syracuse always plays a weak New York based OOC so I doubt they want a tough game like Georgetown on the docket. Maybe if we move the campus to New York there'd be a shot. I'm also not 100% JT3 would like to schedule the every year. I know he respects and understands the history, but I think he likes to have his schedule be flexible. We won't shy away fromt he challenge because we consistently play one of the toughest schedules in the country. This year we have Florida(N), Tennessee(H), UCLA(N), Hopefully Indiana(N), and Texas(N).
