Guess Omar didn't want to wait for that 'dream' UNC offer.

Like I said before, where would he get minutes at St Johns?

I am sure that a Top 60 player like Calhoun would get many minutes at St. John´s.

Shooting guard and "small forward" (if we play with three guards).
5 minutes of Harrison, Greene´s 5, Garrett´s 5 and Pointer or Harkless´ 5, and he is playing 20 minutes.

Omar coming here or not, not the story. Jim hanging around and still getting big time recruits is. Sanctions? I don't think kids care. If and when we really go head to head on a kid coach Steve really wants, I hope it's us that wins. Thank you Mo. H.

49, the kids care now.  Uconn has little chance of pulling off their appeal on the 2013 tourney ban.  Katz just painted a bleak picture for the near future of this program.  It is hard to believe that a program coming off a championship season can have any issues.  Uconn hoops is hitting a critical juncture as they finish out this season.  You would think that they would have hired a reputable AD long ago to help them get through the mess that they created.

Lavin has his share of problems, but I believe him when he says his health issue is behind him.  He has brought in more than he has lost and has much higher caliber players in the program and looking at the program.  The team will take their lumps this season and advance forward with their coach.

This guy is not a priority and the Bigs come first in this class!
He is a back up plan at UConn he won't even play if Lamb decides to stay. He is a scorer but at this point he would not add value on our team IMO.

Uconn players should be humble. You know, like past Uconn players Donny Marshall, Ray Allen, Richard Hamiton, Khalid El Amin, Kevin Freeman, Ricky Moore, Taliek Brown, Ben Gordon, AJ Price, Kemba Walker, Alex Oriakhi, Andre Drummond, Shabbaz Napier and Ryan Boatright.
