What do you guys think of Detroit gaining an advantage by having film from exhibition games?

Its not what you do.
Its how you do it.

Bingo.  Execution, execution, execution.
You can know it's coming all day, but if guys make crisp decisions... it won't matter,

Well said.  We run a relatively complex offense from the Pete Newell days.  It doesn't quite look that way now with some young and raw guys, unlike a few years ago when we had our 12 seniors.  Give it time though, and execution will improve.  I dont expect it to be flawless tomorrow though.  What I'd like to see is balls to the wall play at both ends.  We to that and we can win.  Lazy shuffling of the feet on defense wont cut it, and I stress the idea that defense is whether we'll win or lose, not offense.  Defend the perimeter and let our interior guys challenge shots.

Have to wonder if this is  why we saw so much man to man?  Coach went out and recruited players that fit his matchup zone .  STJ really isn't really built to go long stretches in man.

That sounds too much like Rex keeping his Tebow plan secret thru the pre-season.  Teams are going to see it eventually.  Didn't really make much sense to me.
