Will Pedro contribute anything to the Mets besides his latin buddies?

Went to see Pedro pitch last night and he appeared to be more buzzed than I was. Highlight of the night was willing a 91 mph fastball to Dan Uggla. Following Santana in the rotation is tough, but my expectations for Pedro were low and he limboed under the bar. Does anyone have a rational theory that includes Pedro ever returning to semi stardom?

He'll be fine I think Pedro's ego is hurt more than his leg after last night's performance

so looks like pedro is on the shelf for 4-6 weeks hopefully they are really babying him along and this is not going to turn into a 2-3 month thing.

Can you relay this message to J-Roll for me. Mets are the team to beat in 2008. Ok? Thanks
