Johnny Jungle- Rob DeLucia

After closing out their home-stand with a win, the St. John’s Red Storm (11-7, 3-3) headed out to Chicago to face the DePaul Blue Demons (10-8, 1-4.)

D’Angelo Harrison has not been chipping in at his usual offensive rate, averaging just 7.5 points in his last two games. DePaul would look to continue that trend if they hoped to defeat St. John’s.

News Day- SANTOSH VENKATARAMAN

ROSEMONT, Ill. -- A new, smaller lineup featuring Jamal Branch making his second straight start for St. John's helped build a 17-point lead, only to see that cushion evaporate.

Rumble in the Garden- Norman aka Pico

Sometime in the first half - perhaps it was Jamee Crockett's second tip-slam - St. John's knew they were in for a game. Harrison was struggling to find open looks, the Johnnies struggled to keep the Blue Demons off of the offensive glass, and only the offensive explosion of Jamal Branch and facilitations of Sir`Dominic Pointer kept the Red Storm in the lead.

We Are DePaul- Steve Newhouse

DePaul (10-8, 1-4) came to within three points on Moses Morgan’s trifecta with 2:24 left, but St. John’s (11-7, 3-3) closed the game out on a 6-0 run making their free throws when it mattered.
