Will anybody be attending the game in Providencve saturday?

Anybody going out before the game?  I will be staying at the Marriott downtown where the team is staying if anybody has plans before the game.

When I went two years ago I went to the bar like right across the from the arena.  Wasn't a big fan of it but it was in a time pinch.

Plan to be there with family and not the usual nuts who sit next to me at MSG.  I'm used to being surrounded by fans from the other teams from last year's seat at MSG.  That was before Maher rescued us and pulled together a solid section of redmen fans in 114.

Should I wear the StJ hat and sweatshirt or pull a francessca and act like I went to somewhere else?  The fans up there can be drunken idiots.

If we won against Pitt I was planning on it. After the game I have been so pissed I decided not to.

Once my anger subsides ( if Seton Hall wins tonight thats a start ) who knows I very well might go

I think we are going to be pulling a few more new people into our section next year as well. We might have to move Paultzman over to us as well.

A bit random, but interesting marketing idea. Providence is offering their fans 4 tickets, 4 hot dogs, 4 sodas for $40 total. That is a great deal! I have always said SJ should include some type of deal like this at MSG where the food can easily add up to the ticket price if you are hungry. This is how you get groups of people in. Bravo, Providence...you get it!

St. J's would have to offer 1 tic 1 dog and 1 soda for $10 because they would not be able to find 4 people to take them up on their offer.

Maybe not after Harrison is gone. But package deals including food and drinks is huge. If prices were affordable i.e. 5 bucks for chicken tenders and fries, 1 buck for a soda, etc. people would definitely eat more at games. More realistically it's like $15 for chicken tenders and fries, $5 for a soda, etc. I think it's a good way to get groups out to games. What better way to a fan's heart than through their stomach?

It's not a question of cost. Lavin needs to show the fans that this team isn't dead.
