Top 50 Players in College Hoops

Put this here because of the SJU discussion.  No SJU player listed.  Of course this is just good discussion fodder but nonetheless.

It's ok because we all have players we think are ready to make the jump. Mine are Karr, CO, and Pointer. Sanchez might play like a top 50 but can't list because I never seen him play, and we know only gonna be around 1 year. Be nice surprise if RJ plays at level that puts him in that catagory next year. Cotton and Melvin nice players, but listed ahead of all our guys. Really?

Never seen play does not seem to be a criteria--4 of the top 5 are incoming freshman.  while "great" HS/AAU credentials, what have they done against players of equal size/ability/and more maturity?  i love how they had they had to "cross out" BE ROY for Ryan and then they don't include the BE ROY.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

That's ok. Love being the underdog. Hope Karr and D'Lo see this.

Cotton is clearly one of the top 50 players.  He's a more efficient version of Harrison.

D'Lo IMO can be even better than Cotton.  You are right though, Cotton is more efficient.  D'lo hasn't had good enough guards around him.  Cotton had Council.  I hope D'Lo learns efficiency, because when he is on his game, he can be unstoppable.  Rysheed taking pressure off him I think can help him a ton to be that pure hooting guard he was intended to be.
