Really sad to see him hang it up I wish the Mets would have brought him back to be a pinch hitter 1 of the last 2 seasons. I'm sure he would have accepted that role too.

I loved the guy. I was at his last game as a Dodger (before he was traded to the Marlins) and they came to Shea and the guy hit a shot to off the score board. Never forget the sound off the bat and how fast it got out of the ballpark. I remember turning to my girl and saying how I wish we had this guy. A few weeks later he became a Met.
