Mike asked why team can't shoot and if it is going to be a season long problem. Lavin mentioned Sanchez and Whitey as two guys who are going to help knockdown some threes. He failed to mention that Whitey doesn't really play however. In fairness Lavin did say that he doesn't think this team should rely on the threes as it is not their strength.

Also said the goal is to make the tourney.

Most interesting thing was mentioned he has a really good relationship with BOTH Jim Boheim and Mrs Boheim. Unfortunately Mike did not followup with any threesome questions.

Lavin should have told Mike that AROD will be an asst coach and then he would of changed his demeanor and questioning towards Lavin.
