No doubt.  I think he'll have a good shot at breaking 1,000 victories if he coaches until age 70.  Starting at 34 as HC was a great start.

Ohio State is 22-7 and ranked 22nd in the nation. That's quite the down year. If Lavin was 22-7 you'd have died of dehydration by now.

Thanks for looking that up. If Ohio St had beaten Penn St twice, they'd be ranked much higher and the year would have been much, much better.  They'd be 24-5.  Then they might even be the top ranked team in Ohio!

Syracuse has seceded from NY as sure as the Confederacy seceded from the USA.  They are now a little bit of tobacco road under 4 feet of snow.  Im sure Boeheim still wishes he was in a NY restaurant this March rather than in the food desert of Carolina
