@NYPost_Brazille: JaKarr Sampson expects to be a first round pick, but where does his departure leave St John's? http://t.co/4r8cjZExwZ #sjubb

Well Lavin has shown that he enjoys playing walkon's. Now he will have plenty of opportunity to do so

Wow, that definitely does not bode well for the Johnnies. The fact that Lavin is delusional enough to think the same exact team that struggled this year without any post help for Obekpa (if he stays) will somehow be "like Villanova" next year is really alarming.

This team in NO WAY resembles Villanova. Nova had a 6'11 guy on the inside, the Johnnies did not. Nova also had huge guards in Hilliard and Bell that could shoot the lights out! SJU does not. They have a true top notch floor general in Arci, SJu does not. Nova also has an actual offensive system, SJU does not.

The fact that Lavin actually believes this SJU team will suddenly be this run n gun, 3 point shooting terror is comical. The players on this team haven't shown it for 2 and 3 years, they're not all of a sudden going to.

This article is very telling. I now think that there's no way in hell the Johnnies get DeLarosa. It sucks when your coach is truly blind and is living in denial. This team is gonna suck next year. I hope they fire Lavin which they never will. This program is running in place.
