MSG Layout

Hi all,

Duke fan here and I promise I come in peace. Very much looking forward to my first St. John's game at the Garden and I have no doubt that you guys won't make it easy for us both on and off the court. I'm going to pick up some tickets today and out of respect for being on someone else's turf, I'd prefer to try and avoid any student sections or traditionally heavy SJU sections.

I was offered tickets by a friend in Section 8 Row 15, but I feel like this will likely be in the middle of the student section. Is this correct? Any other advice on trying to stay as out of the way as possible would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks and looking forward to a great game!

I wouldn't worry. I'm betting 75% of the students put their tickets on stubhub

surge429, Baldi is right about as often as a broken clock, but he is right on this.  I would be shocked if there are many students given how much they could sell their tickets for on stubhub.

Worst case you find yourself surrounded by rowdy st johns students who are heckling you, just find st johns fans 1 section up who would trade with you...as you'd be trading backwards.

You will be in the student section but you will probably be surrounded by Duke fans.  student tickets (as well as others) have been going for quite a bit on the secondary market.

Only way I sell them if I thought we had no chance. Could use the money. Still not selling.

Pretty much what these guys said. People who own season tickets, students and the like have all put on their tickets up hoping Duke fans will buy them up for exorbitant prices and pay off their entire season package plus more.

I sit in section 120 which is mostly a season ticket holder section. Expecting to be amongst a ton of blue.

Duke fans are not only used to standing the whole game to see...they made it popular.  Doubt that will be an issue for him.
