It's a great post and it is great because there is a sliver of truth to it and that is Coach A or any coach gets too big for his britches he needs to be knocked down a peg or two.

Did the CTK coach say something recently? What did I miss?

A more realistic top 10

1. Call a JUCO big man, or two
2. Brandon Sampson locked in
3. Look at 5th year immediately eligible guards
4. Show Cheick real love
5. Malik Ellison- maybe someone will listen to me
6. Marcus Lovett- worth a shot at this point
7. Transfers who will sit out a year
8. Mustapaha Heron because I have zero faith in his commitment to Pitt sticking
9. Breein Tyree some local flavor I like
10. Rawle Aikens I'll bite but not convinced he wants to stay local so wouldn't waste time

Any Juco big men in particular? How about 5th guards?

Mullin should def go see that coach at CTK, shake his hand, tell him he'll be around often.

But then, as he's leaving, Mullin should grab him by the ear, throw him to the ground, and tell him that I'd he ever posts garbage about the him or the program again, he's going to rip off his ears and shove them up his ass.

Then, Mullin should help him up, dust him off, and take a photo with him. Big smiles in that picture, too.

Great post!

He has a lot of areas to cover very quickly. That is why I like the names I am hearing for the coaching staff. I think one of the first stops he meds to make after the press conference is to get on a plane and show his face at the McDonalds game. I am not sure if that is a violation or not. Is it during the no observation period?

- Got that Juco big in Williams and another big in Sima.
- Got Owens who is sitting out a year.
- Trying to lock up Sampson
- Going in hard on Cheick
- Mustapha de-committed right on schedule lol
- Now in the mix for Aikens. If they got him and Heron I'd freak out.
- Lovett says St. John's is his leader. I'm not overly excited but it's better than not being the leader

All going according to plan. Need a few more check marks before the summer.

Don't think so. I thought they were going to get Aaron Cosby but didn't work out.

Don't waste too much time before going hard after Mustapha Heron. That kid looks like a better left handed version of Rawle Alkins.

He's a beast. Did some athlete testing at Elite 24 last year and he ranked #1 out of 10,000. Combined strength, hand eye, flexibility, etc. I don't know exactly what it was but it was a thorough test and he was off the charts.

Interesting..    Seems to me an Alkins/Heron backcourt in 2016 would be exciting..  2 freshman.     I'm in.

After watching his videos, I think he must have had flying colors in the mental toughness drills - looks tough as nails mentally

Dont everbody go crazy on me but I see a lot of similarities in the style of player behind Alkins and Lebron. Style being operative word.

The point is the top locals don't want to stay home.  The only exceptions being Mullin, Sealy, and Lopez.  Maybe Werdann and Walter.  Artest and Barkley also.  But the field in NYC has thinned tremendously.  If you get, literally, two percent of the top players  now you won't survive.  You'll get fired.  So you have to recruit nationally, just not against football schools from the south, because they cheat like crazy.
