They haven't had a good player since Calvin Murphy.

Johnnies 78
Niagara 67

All of the hard work in practice begins to pay off. Forsee big games across the roster. I do think that Emile Blackman and Matt Scott (who I'm a huge fan of) get theirs though.

8-4 heading into South Carolina at Mohegan Sun with Marcus playing would be ideal.

I haven't researched Niagara this year but I'm sure I probably would've heard of them as a small school if they were any good a la a Monmouth, NJIT, etc. this season.

SJU 82

9-3 would be ideal. 8-4 would be just fine.

I predict a very small crowd.

I thought there would be one too, but that was the longest security line I've had to get through this year.  Seemed like the 5 pm start allowed a lot of young children to attend, who otherwise would not have been able to on a Wednesday night.

Combine that with the student promotion, and maybe it's something we should do once a year.

Thought the free ticket gimmick wouldn't work/adults wouldn't get off work in time. So happy to be wrong. Someone said in the other thread hope they do more free student tickets in the future.

I'm out of the country so couldn't watch or go. But how much of the crowd was adults who work as opposed to students.

I'm all for more students at games but to schedule games when alums who work and give money to the school can't go is an issue. 1 game a year isn't a big deal. More would be a problem. But SJU doesn't care. I mean we must lead the country in awkward start times for our games

The lower bowl was filled with students.

The upper level was more adults with kids.

It was a weird crowd. Not nessarily a good crowd . Students were there and they were rowdy. A fraternity was there in front of me. They were dressed up to win a contest as cray fans. They were more interested in getting ready to take off their shirts and perform then watch the game. It was kind of silly. When they didn't win the contest they wanted to leave.
