Too bad, our MSU transfer can't play this year.

He should be able to give us some great intel though. Probably still  won't be enough.

Facing MSU instead of Iona should help our RPI just a little bit more don't you think.

Yes. Hopefully the guys are ready to play the big boys after the tough matchups with Longwood and Binghamton

Right nothing would prepare them better for a Tom Izzo coached Big 10 power then playing a Tim Cluess MAAC team.

St. John's will play pickup against Iona on Sundays this summer, sources told @CBSSports. Red Storm will play Hofstra during week. #SJUBB

Somehow I don't think this will satisfy Baldi

It's a start.

But if we can't be in attendance, doesn't really matter
Anyone have any info on allowing public to view?

IONA played at St John's yesterday

Just curious how come Iona is getting all these recruits and you never post that Grasso is going to get them in trouble.

But Matt's  hard work in recruiting  is going to get SJU in trouble

IONA gets the recruits because of their great facilities

If there facilities are so great how come they still are in the same league and are never offered to go to a higher profile league

Is your response they are sacred of Iona and I never heard the Big East for an example offered them a spot in the league.

They are still in the MAAC because of its academic superiority

So unless Fordham is visiting Carnesecca is the Fordham/SJU game off this year?

Why the hell are we playing Penn State? Are we the undercard for Fordham vs Rutgers?

I think from an RPI and SoS point of view, a matchup with a Big 10 Team is good. Penn State should end up a with a good SoS and RPI based on playing in the Big 10, Like you said, better than Longwood or St Thomas Aquinas.

Usually we miss the tournament by a solid margin. We lost to them in OT at Barclays in 2013-2014 season when Dlo couldn't win it from the FT line in regulation. That was the year we lost to Providence in the 1st round of the BET in what was possibly an NCAA play in game. Then got run out of our own gym by Bob Morris in the NIT

Have a hard time putting that loss on dlo when Jakarr fouled a 3 pt shooter up 3 in the final seconds.
*wipes ketchup from his eyes* - I guess Heinz sight isn’t 20/20.

We were up 2.  Then Harrison was fouled, and only made 1 out of 2 to force OT.  They were both at fault, but Jakarr more so, IMO.
