St. John's elite camp next Wednesday will have roughly 45 prospects. Some of best area prospects expected. Full list later in week. #sjubb

I'm loving the tight relationship that's being formed between the program and the PSA Cardinals. Next week's tri state talent base on campus should be phenomenal.

Maybe he's more busy recruiting than he is giving back channel interviews to bloggers. And anyway "They've been to a bunch of Ranney games. Those guys are touching base every couple days. They're very interested in five or six kids from the team, similar to the Sports U group."

Didn't Lavin only run 1 during his stay. 2nd year? Had  a slew of prospects. Was always waiting for the the second one to land. Never did. Would think running one each year can't hurt.

Reading about the turnout has me very pleased. Matt A and Matic deserve major credit for uniting the city like this. Coordinating premier representation from each of the area's top HS and AAU programs isn't easy and I'm sure that there was a resounding feeling of local pride leaving Taffner last night. This is exactly what the doctor ordered, we've been awaiting this type of leadership for decades. We're finally becoming synonymous with the fabric of the grassroots NYC basketball scene now. This takes vision and Mullin is delivering.

To note, there is major buzz surrounding one of the 2020 recruits. Rising freshman Posh Alexander is supposedly head and shoulders the best 2020 player in NYC. Anyone know where he is going next year and where he's from?

@PatLawless

Posh Alexander, a class of 2020 point guard playing for the NY Lightning, just picked up his first offer from St. John's.

Was at Elite Camp last night.

Matt will be recruiting pre school kids soon. :)

I still feel St. Jean will be a great recruiter if he puts the same energy in the recruiting trail as he does in the games.
