There is a rumor about Kofi going to Oak Hill. It was mentioned in a Uconn recruiting article. Don't have a link.

2 of the top10 prospects in the country leaving our front yard for out of town basketball factories is infuriating. College implications aside, this is purely from a NY basketball standpoint, it grinds my gears to no end.

With Kofi Cockburn also leaving Christ the King to join Cole Anthony, formerly of Molloy at Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson,Va.) I think Oak Hill now should be the favorite to win the CHSAA this year!  lol

If Kofi is willing to go to Virginia for his last year of "high school" I doubt the staying close to home for college is going to be much of a factor

Malloy tuition is between $9K and $10; Oak Hill with fees is $40K plus transportation for parents to visit and kids to come home.  Don't see an economic advantage of going to Oak Hill as kids get a free college ride to college of choice regardless of which school they are in.  Seems like something is rotten in Denmark on this deal economically unless..........

Is Tiny Morton involved or will we all of a sudden see Kofi commit to the Hall?

Often, these, kids are getting a sizeable discount/financial aid for athletic scholarship.  In some cases, it also helps a school increase their geographic and racial diversity.  Not much different than private college admissions.

Come on man..    Oak Hill is a basketball factory and has been for decades...   these kids don't pay much, if anything,  to go there..

Oak Hill is not looking to change their geographic reach or diversity dynamic..

Not coming here. Maybe when he's disgruntled in a year or 2 then we can land him.

He may be SJU's last best chance at landing a big time recruit.

But I wouldn't count on it.

He is priority #1.

All attention should be sent his way all Winter long.

Kofi or 2019 bust.

Perfect fit for our immediate needs. Pair him next to Keita, fill out the rest of the class with wings and guards.
