Agreed. Guard play should be terrific and Lovett will command a lot of help defense to contain him. Nobody is shutting him down alone. I think Mussini is a pretty safe bet for double-figures.

I think everyone is freaking out over one bad game. He's a shooter and not much more. That doesn't mean he won't be an asset for us, but shooters have off days, and he had one. If he's used in a Max Hooper role, he's great. If he's our starting 2 guard, it's going to be long year.

Saw him make some real big plays down the stretch before fouling out on an iffy call. Had a huge defensive rebound, a put back, an assist and a steal

I really think it's ok. He's a shooter off the bench. Asking him to do more is a big mistake. We'll need him for free throws at the game, and there's value in that.

If this season or some other season for that matter depends on Mussini hitting some free throws at games end we are well and truly intercoursed
