Anyone ever sat courtside for a game at The Garden?

If so, how much would a pair cost from the university?  Or are they basically all VIP and the only way I'll find a pair would be on the secondary market?  Thinking about coming up for the Xavier game and think it'd be a cool experience.

It is a cool experience. Not sure how much it would cost you though. Usually behind the SJU bench are SJU University employees. Behind the opposing teams bench are friends and family of that University.

Seat on the opposite side of the court are open to anyone that wants them.

I sat there once for an SJU and Ga Tech double-header when my ex-gf's brother was playing. Cool experience but I looked like a total nerd when I  wiffed on a ball that bounced right to me. Karma for all the comments about people dropping balls in similar situations. Tix were comped so I can't comment on the price.

Courtside seats through the school are distributed through a specific program.  You need to be a red/white member at $5k level or above plus pay for tickets which in Garden are basically $250 each for sidelines not under basket.

Sat in second row behind ND bench. Spent 20 dollars for 4 tickets. Bought outside in rain. Norm Roberts was still coach. Think it was DJ sophomore or junior year . We won at buzzer. That shooter we had transferred out that season hit the shot.
Sitting court side is much harder now with new garden. Much more money. Much harder to get tickets.

Behind the sju bench are donors and members of the red/white club. I worked for th athletic department and they did give you free seats but there were nowhere near behind the bench.

Also worked for the athletic department and higher ups in the athletic department sat behind the SJU bench. Things might have changed as I'm talking late 90s.

I am pretty sure that the front row @ MSG is taken by long standing season ticket holders...
