Tickets - Villanova @ MSG 1/14/2017

Hello, I'm from California and I will be visiting NYC over the MLK holiday weekend and would like to take in a game at MSG.  My options are the Knicks on the 12th, the Rangers on the 13th and the St Johns - Villanova game on Saturday the 14th. 

Far and away my preference is the St Johns game but as far as I can tell the ticket agencies online are charging $200+ per ticket.   That's about a hundred bucks more than I am really prepared to pay for a ticket to watch a basketball game.  Is that what I can expect to pay if I buy a ticket in NYC?  Are there cheaper tickets available if I walk up on the day of the game?  I really want to watch a St Johns game but I don't want to have to refinance my house to do so.

stubhub a week or 2 before the game or even a month. You won't pay close to that depending on where you want to sit but you will be able to get in the 100's corners for under $75

Really looking forward to my trip to NYC and my first visit to the Garden.

Yeah man I don't think single game tickets have even gone on sale. Just people with full season season tickets have theirs.
